Da verbringt man zehn tolle Tage in Berlin bei Meike und Klaus und am Ende kommen nur Bilder vom Regierungsviertel heraus. Super, Herr Hofmann. Wenigstens habe ich so ziemlich alle, die ich in Berlin getroffen habe, dann auf der Hochzeit von Eva und Christoph geknipst. Aber der Zeit wird es nicht gerecht. Nun ja. Wenn man links das Bier und rechts das Grillfleisch in der Hand hat, und nebenbei noch auf eine Grossleinwand starrt und jubelt, ist es eben nicht so einfach mit dem fotografieren. Aber architektonisch gelungen ist es, das Regierungsviertel.

I stayed in Berlin and all I got were these lousy photos of government buildings. Seriously, I had a fantastic ten days staying with my friends Meike and Klaus. But nothing memorable in the camera except government buildings. Great work! Well, at least I got photos of most of my Berlin friends at the wedding. I guess with a beer in one hand and a barbequed steak in the other while cheering for the national team on the giant screen in front of me, I wasn’t capable of brilliant photography. But one has to admire the architecture of the New Berlin.

Wo Fuchs, Hase und Rehlein (siehe Foto) sich gute Nacht sagen, dort sind Eva und Christoph zu Hause. Direkt vor ihrer Tuer liegt der Schlosspark Babelsberg, wo man spazieren gehen und sich im Dunkeln verlaufen kann.

Where fox, hare and deer (see photo) say good night, that’s where Eva and Christoph are at home. Right in front of their doorstep lies the park of Schloss Babelsberg, where one can go for walks and get lost in the dark.
